Are you open on public holidays?
We are open Wednesday to Sunday and closed Monday and Tuesday each week. Any changes to these, due to Public Holidays or School Holidays will be advertised on our Facebook page
Can you buy food at the Sanctuary?
We have a selection of cold drinks and ice creams only. Visitors are more than welcome to bring their own food and drinks
Is the Sanctuary open if it rains?
Generally, YES. However, with heavy or prolonged rain the Sanctuary can become waterlogged and for safety reasons we will close. This will be notified on our Facebook page.
Can I book the Animal Experiences when I arrive, or should I book in advance?
Dingo and Snake experiences can be booked on arrival. However, at times, due to circumstances they may not be available, so it is advisable to call first.
Do I have to pay to take photos of the animal experiences?
No, we do not charge for photographs of any of the animals.
Can I bring food and drink into the sanctuary?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink into the sanctuary. However, please note that glassware and alcohol are not permitted to be brought into or consumed within the sanctuary grounds.
Can we feed the animals?
We have bags of kangaroo food for sale for $3.00 a bag. The kangaroos love to meeting people, eating out of your hand and being given a gentle scratch on the chest! We ask that you don’t feed anything else to the animals, as some human food can be harmful to wildlife.
