Animal Rescue
What to do if you find an injured, sick or orphaned wildlife.
Prioritize your safety first. Wild animals aren’t used to being touched by humans and can cause serious injuries, and some carry dangerous diseases which can infect humans. Also, injured animals are often found on the roadside so it is important to stay vigilant and keep yourself safe from vehicles or other potential hazards.
Contact a Wildlife Rescue Organisation for expert advice on handling the animal and the next steps for you to take depending on your situation.
